Ok so your hair is falling out and thinning. But where is the hairloss happening at? The type of hair loss you have can help you chose what products you need to purchase.

BREAKAGE
This can be easier to determine. If you have been rough with you hair, using too much heat, leaving it dry & brittle, wearing wool hats, hard brushing, chemical treatments, etc. All of this weakens the hair strand causing it to break & snap. Although your hair strands are breaking, you don’t have any bald spots, your hair is still growing strong, and your new growth/roots are thick and strong because that part hasn’t been exposed to trauma styling yet. You also notice that your hair at the ends is much thinner than the base of your head at scalp level. If your hair is breaking due to dryness/brittle you need to keep it moisturized (with ProVitamin B, silk amino acids, oilive oil, infused hair products) and stay away from excess heat (i.e. flat ironing, curling iron, etc.) this will stop the breakage. If you hair is chemically treated, please consider going completely natural. Henna & Cassia are excellent natural conditioners for hair.
SHEDDING
This is the most devastating type of hairloss because it’s coming from the scalp causing visible bald spots. This is when your hair is detaching from the root/follical/scalp and causing massive shedding. There are many reasons why this could be happening (i.e. sickness, stress, damaging hair products, etc.) please read my post HAIRLOSS: WHY I’M I LOSING MY HAIR? to help determine the source of your hairloss before purchasing any hair products. Then read my Hair Product Buying Guide to choose which of my products to purchase to help restore your hair.
